The new/redone Eden trail is great fun 👌🏻 tried to find the trail at the top of G-spot around the tree line but had no luck.

G-spot always fun and with all the splits we always end on different lines. One moment he's behind me the next I see him going in a different direction 😂🤣

Challenging conditions on the Highveld today ... quite heavy rain during the night, another early morning downpour.

Lots of the 'lying in today' excuse type messages on the groups I'm part of but don't ride with 😜

Just did my normal, look out the window ..... wait half an hour have another look then went out with a raincoat just in case. No rain, actually a pleasant ride! I find a gravel bike to be ideal for these type of rides, water puddles around and quite a lot of stuff washed down onto the road surface.

First time riding oom JD trail at Rhebokskloof, the purple route has closed unfortunately that was fun.

This morning's musing while riding with some traffic interruptions ...

It is relatively easy to become a strong and fast cyclist with some dedication BUT etiquette, mannerism, responsibility, & general logic is not a given!

Some skills cannot be learnt indoors or in 'classes' ... Ek sê maar net 😜

Closed off 2024 in the right way, a solo gravel ride up and down the Swartberg Pass from Prins Albert. Now I just want to find more iconic gravel passes to experience!

Unfortunately you did the most iconic one 1st.... We have other beautiful passes in our country but none quite like this one
