My BIL used to be a flying school instructor at Grand Central. Many moons ago whilst still dating my wife we arranged a flight from GC to Sun City in a small 6 seater for her birthday. On the return leg I was co-pilot. Coming in to land at GC there was very low lying fog/mist. He brought the plane down on instruments and experience. We eventually pushed through the fog and had some visibility just before the wheels touched the ground. Was a real eye opener for me. REALLY FAST Posted June 9, 2023 Share Was kinda treacherous up at the Berms, Broken Road, Beast, Super Tubes (whatever you call it). There was a blown down tree in the path and loose rocks to add to the fun. It didn't detract from a great Friday ride though.
