gotten a bit more rutty, eh? Love that place. Several ohshit moments there on saturday....

Was ultra rutty a while back.

Getting to that point where it needs maintenance for the sake of longevity now.

Maybe we should all rock up and sort some stuff out sometime before summer time comes.

Some people have been on it with spades in the past few weeks. But a little maintenance couldn't hurt. The DH boys will have your nuts if you go anywhere near the race line with a spade tho.

I'd be willing to take that chance. But honestly, I am seldom one to advocate for trail maintenance, but that one long straight rut into the LH corner needs some damn work for drainage at the least

Friday afternoon @ Wolwe

Was too cold on Saturday morning for pics

Great pic!

Is it just the angle of the photo or are your bars angled downward? I have a buddy that's set up like that and my wrists hurt just looking at him riding.

Trail Z / Welvergenoegd behind Hoogekraal. This trail just shines this time of year. For a change, I found what I believe is "hero dirt". The trail was riding sublime all the way, and the drop from the top and down Patrick's Psycho Plunge was crazy fun. Sadly I did not have the legs for a repeat. Maybe next time.

Went on a long ride to Lake Ammer. Wife went through late by car and we met up for a coffee/beer and then the return leg. Did not take any pictures on the road back as rain caught up to me and tucked phone in a plastic bag to stay dry. Eventually had to cut the route short as the original plan would have let me down a little pass that got soaked and going down there with wet brakes just did not appeal to me and took a dry route home.
