fanievb Posted May 3, 2014 Share Dear Mountain bike I am so sorry I did not ride you today, I left you alone in the corner of the bedroom.I lent a friends' road bike too see what the roadies are making a fuss about, I was curious I'd never ridden one before... It was weird, uncomfortable and at 10km I wanted to just come home to you. At 20km Id sorted out the gearing, and stopped panicking every time a car came past, by 30km on the long downhill home I ran out of gears, tucked in and it felt like heaven!! You will always be my first love,but the adultery I committed this morning will now happen regularly. Please understandxxx Don't get "classified" just be a bicycle rider. My lines were all wrong, my legs farked and my eyes gritted against the rain, but man was it fun! Next time, the goggles go on. Don't like riding with the eyes half closed...
