Went to play with a new Rockhopper at Wolwespruit

Very nice! Those Rockhopper EVO's are fantastic bikes. Love the bright orange paintjob.

Does the saddlebag not rub against the rear wheel when you use the full travel of the dropper?

Meerendal to experiment with a thing or two and put the finishing touches on a 2016 Fox 34 review.

Interested in your review. I have the 2014 34 Factory FIT CTD. It gets panned in reviews but still a better fork than any I had before

Thanks! My main bike is an Epic, but this is different fun - love it. It feels as if it climbs better... The saddlebag clears with about 10cm - just hate the weight of the tools in my back pocket

Trails are still a  little loose and dusty, but great fun....

Darren warned the Red's not  for the faint hearted though. ^_^

Hero Adventure at Hobby Park.

Talk about virgin trail...and this is it!

Really nice ride in general. Some nice tech sections on the yellow, with some sufficient climbing. Could not do the red as we were time constrained (and we lost the trail on the purple completely)

Lots of potential, but what the place is in real need of, is rain, and riders to compact the trails, its very dusty and loose at the moment.

Given the compactness of the area, 38km is not bad trail distance, however the Green in the wind was tedious and quite boring. (but makes up good distance)

Now for picture overload....

Spoke to Darren after our ride, and he said the "pedestrians" on the Purple section is a real problem in terms of moving arrows, changing direction etc. So I would suggest doing the purple as a Recce first, or riding with some-one that is familiar with the trail.

I will definitely be back soon

have to agree on the Green, ... but once it's rained and been compacted, should make for some fast riding.
