Another classic example of someone f'ing around and finding out.

What I am having trouble with is why people keep on shirking from standing with the victim. The thief jumped over a fence and committed a crime, got caught, was lucky not to be impaled on the fence, and then got ten colours of kr@p moered out of him. I don't see the problem?

Started off with the kidney on the liver side so he knows something ( maybe more ) probably also knows enough not to hit hard enough to break his fingers

I'm not so sure. Most petty criminals won't put up a fight when you catch them. They rely on your inaction to allow them to escape. When you catch them and deal with them as above they have no idea how to defend themselves. Then within a flash they whip out the victim card. The criminal who fights intended violence from the onset of the crime and this is why it's better to be ready to fight back. Also, when you do catch a criminal you don't know if they're armed or not, so play safe and either neutralise the threat or get away as fast as possible yourself. Just don't hang around without a plan. Know how you will respond when you find yourself needing to. And be ready.

I know that you’ve seen and liked this previously, it still brings back fond memories.

 

I was later worried for the guy’s life and kept checking local news reports and with my former state service medical colleagues.  I’m not even kidding when I say that my shoulder somehow felt a pleasurable glowing warmth for the following week.  🙈😂

To add to the vindication feels of this thread. I got mugged mos at knife point earlier this year. Bike gone forever. I still remember the guys face vividly. He had a pretty unique configuration of scars. 

Fast forward to end October. I walk though trauma in TBH on the way to my dept. Who's sitting here with two chest drains, bilateral forearm casts and a freshly sutured set of panga wounds over the back of his kop? The guy! 

He was accompanied by cops and ankle cuffed. 

So. These guys don't change their ways. And leave a lot of hurt and frustration in their wake. But they usually end up being the biggest losers when they piss off the wrong "victim". 

I feel like this (or worse) is the inevitable outcome for these thugs. I don't condone dishing out assault in retaliation for theft... But I did think "kry vir jou".
