The French like their protests, I wonder if we will see one for that maneuver from Pidcock.

The guy is a great bike rider but I simply cannot stand him.

He did nothing wrong. There are two lines in that section of the course. VK went right Tp went left and accelerated. VK should have covered him off by accelerating ahead but reacted too late.

Agreed. Not gonna lie, when I saw him take the inside line the only thing going through my mind was hoping both of them crash each other out and Alan comes flying past for gold.

Regardless, a bronze medal is a phenomenal achievement escpecially in that race. I couldn’t believe how long he held Pidcock’s wheel.

Yip, Pidcock attacked that corner and took it more aggressively with purpose and acceleration, Koretsky looked like he was caught out.

I agree, nothing wrong with that move. It looked worse than it was.

*** over built course. Never the less a great race.

Inside scoop ,the attached photo was my first choice for the Paris 2024 MTB venue.

Course designers don’t have the final say in what happens during the construction phase. Hopefully this changes in the future.

Regards NF

Dm me if you have any questions on Course design.
