Admittedly I bought and put this in last year already, but it was a serious bike alteration. And with all the coronavirus related posts dominating around here I figured something different could be good.

The angleset kit comes with 0.5, 1.0 and 1.5deg offset cups. I used the 1.5 degree to take my Tallboy's headangle from oldschool 70.2 to a slightly more relaxed 68.7 degrees.

Wish I could give a detailed ride report of back to back changes, but I was off the bike for 18 months before this and then also relocated to the other side of the world. Trails very different here compared to Jonkershoek. Could be subjective, but pedal strikes are a bit more frequent, and the bike looks "slacker" I reckon.

New bike day

Bought the Cannondale Slate just before lockdown, went for a 60km ride today, can see the Synapse not being used as much as before.

This bike loves the deteriorating roads.

Not new but new to me.

I regretted selling my Scale the moment I sold it. So had to get another one. Couple of upgrades soon to follow, crank, tyres and a dropper and maybe a 110-120mm fork.

You could probably just replace the air spring of the fox32 to a longer one to get more travel.

But that new 120mm SID........ yes please!

Hi Jan congrats on your new Dale. I'm curious if the Lefty makes it feel heavy at the front. I'm sure it's plush, will be interesting to hear your first ride feedback.

I now that bike. The previous owner hardly ridden that bike (wheelset was basically new with awesome Chris King hubs) and he looks after his stuff.

Wishing you only good miles on it.

So I am not allowed to bolster the local economy by making online purchases in SA.  But I am able to import bike parts and have them delivered to my front door?

There seems to be a lack of serious thought going into economic decisions

Anyway, I have some new bling for a new gravel build I can't do

Garbaruk direct?  Or at a bike shop?

Items like this were ordered before I realised that this virus was going to ruin my business

Besides, what would you do with this bling?
