Ended up getting myself the Holy rail, nice little piece of kit, had initially just gotten the bag, but then they released the 1 with the strap which gave me the ideas you see in the pic.

Pretty decent little setup, ended up swapping back to my old bottle cage, that one was a bit tight for the reduced space I had for said bottle and my old ones nicely warn and fully open on the right so lots more sideways pull available.

With the rail I can now also go get another co2 holder and pop that under the cage, my frames width made using that a no go. I can quite literally keep all my essentials on the frame. 5da1cee1c5c174f792bf69c29de56249.jpg

[emoji41]

Haven't baught anything cycling related for a long time but after today's ride and my XT drivetrain thinking it wants to be DI2 by jumping between gears I decided it was time to fit the new drivetrain, cables and grips that have been lying in the cupboard since October.

I must admit I took it to the bikeshop for a wash and polish before bringing it home to work on it myself. 7ed746957006fb013e193cb7de46381b.jpg
