Hmmm.

OK.

ASG, thank you for considering my challenge.

But i feel you have misunderstood the point of all of this.

My intention with this challenge is to challenge YOU to do something good here in the visible HUB domain simply for the sake of doing good. Not to see what you can get out of it.

I have had a chat with DIPSLICK and we have come to an agreement.

We (hubbers) will pay to send these boys.

According to the PM from Rusty, he needs R15k for BOTH of these boys to follow there dreams.

Some hubbers have already donated - Dipslick and i will personally pay the balance.

Jean Smith and Jeanne Nel...pack your bags. You are going.

like a boss wayne like a boss

SMALL BOYS WIN

its not about making more money its about helping a cyclist

i totally understand that, the point i'm making is just that for ASG to match Wanye's challenge of R7500 , we the hubbers have to spend R75 000 at ASG, Most of us would then rather just donate that money straight to the fund. that way the targeted amount could be reached quicker.

No insulting anyone just thinking aloud with my accounting brain. :whistling:

didnt mean to step on toe's

With the offer from ASG we get goods and the fund grows. ASG make some money. The people go on their trip. Eeryone gets a little something for their money. If everyone went to ASG with a challenge to sponsor a rider they wouldn't last long. What makes this case special? Someone has offered something and the challenge was responded to. Both parties have stated their willing to participate. If I tell you how to spend your money will you do it? I applaud ASG for coming to the party first. I suspect CWC is watching this very closely to top the offer and look like the good guy. ASG has looked after us for years and brought us great deals. Again... I support their counter offer.

Difference between ASG and CWC (IMHO):

ASG - Business that just happens to sell cycling kit.

CWC - Cyclists who just happen to do business
