Loved the 80's motocross era. Nothing like a gate full of 250 2-strokes and the smell of methanol. Who remembers Syringa park and Brickor/Corobrick.

Grant Maben, Robbie Wicks, Gary Bergstrom, Darryl Werner, Tyrone Stevenson and Charlie Tissen to mention a few names from the past.

Thanks for the meander back through my youth :) but Donkey Kong was advanced - there was an egg drop one I had that was my intro.

 

This is my TV memory with the theme tune..

I couldn't speak a word of Afrikaans as a child, but I would always race to the TV to watch this...

Can't remember Liewe Heksie - just remember Knersus and his pot. Scary...

My first computer after my spectravideo had Windows 3.1. I went on a Windows course - Was so excited - then a week later win 95 was released *grrr*

Oh my word, I just did the unthinkable and "liked" Liewe Heksie! :blush:

I liked you liking liewe heksie :) like Lurch didn't understand a thing but it was awesome.
