I was riding the Tygerberg trail network on Saturday and every time I heard a dog bark I thought of this thread.

End It!!!!! lol, The three really nice hunting dogs I came across would probably end me.

Morning all.

I'm a newcomer to the Tygerberg MTB Club, and looking forward to maybe meeting some of you.

I was wondering if anyone has KML / KMZ files of the various routes open to members (or know where to find them)? Or perhaps GPX files which I can convert? I know there is a map on the website, but I like to interact with the maps.

Many thanks

Here's a good quality copy of the Tygerberg map:

Yeah well... no matter what you do don't break a leg cos you'll end up walking solo... or not walking ....

Are you sure you just weren't traumatised by the bib try-on incident of '16 and are over-compensating? ????????????????????????

2018 and okes are moaning about the colour of a tiny piece of plastic which allows you to spend hours doing what you love.

what a time to be alive...

says a LOT for how good the club and the trails are when the colour of the board is the only complaint !!

Let's face it .... not even a pink board can detract from such a nice bike !

My mate went OTB close to bottom of cobra on friday. A call to the number on the website brought Patrick to the top of cobra while we walked out. He has a broken collarbone and 2 bust ribs. Friendly, kind, helpful, calm assistance when we needed it. No fuss. No problem.

Thanks Patrick. I'd put the board on the bike even if it was vermillion with peuce polka dots and a unicorn horn.

Well i am.picking up the new board on friday and will reserve judgement until I've ziptied it to the merida ....

you will have to change up your lumo orange warmers to something that matches the board.

guess my gripe is that the whole pink thing doesn't go with the stealth look of my bike.

Rode hoogekraal yesterday and the trail is in an excellent condition.  Spotted one massive cobra on the Fair Cape side.  Fortunately it was about 5 metres off the singletrack.  It seemed to have gotten as much of a fright as I did.

Be careful out there...

Looked pretty much like this one:
