My bike took me through Benoni this morning. I won't post a pic, there's enough tragedy in the world already.

If I wanted to get technical my bike took me to Bokksburg, Benoni and kempton, but since they all fall into my PoT (I like that Duane) its all boksburg to me.

We are partially operating at work so I have to open up in the mornings. That leaves me with about 45min in the morning for exercise.

This morning I decided to make use of this little time I have and did a couple of crit style laps around the local mall.

There's even a paved section almost resembling cobbles.[emoji16]41a9bb82c90510f7a5589af79791a44e.jpgb40e5d73ea1a80245d6ecf5ba4fc0c8c.jpg

this has given me an idea.....where is that flask of mine..?

A little luxury goes a long way to making life feel great. It fits nicely into your shirt back pocket. Stop somewhere scenic, pour coffee, watch the drool drip from under the masks of all riders passing downwind and greet them with a big fat smile (you have to let your mask slip a bit to drink your coffee, right?!  ;)  :D

My flask fits perfectly into my bottle cage...needed to pad the cage a bit to stop a minor rattle (#cyclingOCDisathing) but yip nothing like watching the sunrise with a hot bean brew! Also #stayawayfrommycoffee.....

This idiotic exercise window is really not working for me. I only get Saturday and Sunday morning, and not really for more than 90 minutes at a time.

So, I have decided to not try and squeeze a weeks worth of suffering into that, but rather to try and squeeze a weeks worth of feel-good into it.....hence the portable coffee stop......and I try ride the prettiest routes I can find from home.

I'm stealing your coffee idea for this weekend.

This was from last weekend with my son. We'll be having coffee here on Saturday I reckon. Thanks DJR

Nowhere for a while... apparently having fun with a larger radius and doubling mileage and time in 1 week is perfect for stirring up ITB issues [emoji2359]
