Knysna to Crags.

Those forest sections are special and the views from the top of each climb are incredible!

It got hot quickly though!

It all started out so well, then the repeated front wash out feeling and the puncture you can never find.

second strip of the wheel - chuck it in the pool, half the nipples are leaking air. Apparently squirt sealant and mavic rims make more electricity than eskom.

I'm assuming that sealant has ammonia in it?

It claims not … but is also pretty damn poor at sealing. 2 reasons to avoid it, pity as I like the team behind the product.

Stellenbosch, overs Hels, up Franschhoek Pass, and then back again (via Terbedore, obvs 😁).

First time up the pass (plus I was testing some extra packing stuff for some longer rides next week) made for a tough 7km, 6% climb that just never really lets up.

Short video edit if anyone is interested...

Hardly exciting scenery but I took a ride into Santon to see how my bike(s) would fit into a Ford van. Decided to take a different road home and went across the pedestrian bridge at Grayson Drive for the first time.

Only want to fit in two bikes as we will be touring in it . I wanted to make sure that if necessary we could sleep in it even with the bikes stored inside

could probably fit at least 6 bikes with reasonable spacing

did not have my drivers license so will have to go back for a test drive

Had the same problem with two Mavic rims.  Took it to Knipe Racing in Durbanville who use some type of resin to seal the holes, drill new valve holes, add rim tape and I had two brand new rims.   Maybe there is a bike shop around where you are that can do the same for you?

There is quite a bit you can do with those. Camper with bike transport and a mini workshop!

That's a freaking great idea. Two roadies and 2 dirties under your bed - the fridge slide-type setup makes is user friendly too! Cool!
