First time (riding) up to Blockhouse this morning. Turns out it's very manageable on a gravel bike, despite my fears (and my dad zooming past me on his ebike, irreparably hurting my feelings, on occasion 😂)

Filmed the descent, if you want to check out the track conditions, have a look here: https://youtu.be/0ZT6Bj4_ri8

Sanparks fixed the roads quite nicely after the last fires and after winter, that's why they are fine for a gravel bike at the moment. It will probably stay like that until we have some heavy winter rains again, then it will become more Mtb like terrain again. Enjoy while it lasts.

Some Armageddon yesterday. That first segment is sketchy. Get it wrong and the fall is going to be far . . .

Even the waterfall was thirsty, but those trees . . .

Those views . . .

First time starting from the very top. I liked this segment the most. Sketchy as hell, but you feel alive once you get to Armageddon 7 . . . The climb to here makes me wonder if I'd do it again. I was broken before the ride down even started. Shuttle days is something to consider.PANO_20220319_115646.jpg.1ee8ca93e76abb972f6241b9e50379a1.jpg
