This has to be the worst thread of the year

It is more motivating than Impey winning stage 9!!

And when one has been office bound for most of the year, this thread just makes you want to ride. And then cry because there will not be much let up for the next 6 months.

Ride to and from the office Slowbee? :whistling:

I dont think that 20metres from the front door of the house (aka kitchen) to the front dooor of the office (aka study), will count as a ride. And besides, there is so much stock "aka stuff not being sold and hence why working so hard" is in the way a bike will not fit.

Any decent commute DO include a few extract turns, and may even go past a local coffee shop ...

Though this may possibly increase your travel time a "bit" ...

Slowbee you could have had a Saturday like me ....

After 2 000 messages we finally managed to get a couple of Maritz's class mates and parents to join for a ride at Bloemendal.

Dad 1 is a STRONG cyclist, doing long tandem rides with his eldest son.  They made up the front group with a couple of kids, including Maritz.

Dad 2 is a newbie, on a rigid ... riding mid-pack with his son

Me .... somehow I ended far in the BACK walking 80% of the trail with a daughter that had lost her confidence on single tracks after a very small spill ..... eventually got back onto the jeep tracks, cycling parallel to the trails and meeting up with the others at various points.  Well worth it, as she did get back a bit of confidence towards the end !!

After the others left Maritz and I did a lap of B Spot.  He is keeping a very nice pace !!   Wonder how long before he starts dropping me ....  :w00t:

WOW !!

That is some serious climbing !!!!

Chairlifts, those straight lines that looks like it was ridden multiple times.

But nearly 7k of descending must have led to some lank arm pump.

Charlifts indeed. And the ride kms include the Chairlifts. Been working on hand strength so strong like Bull.

But all of the lads in our crew did that or very close yesterday.

Today it's off to Chatel
