Road or mtb?

How high is that?

MTB, the last half of the climb up is off road and the first half which is tar is way to steep for my road bike and climbing ability.

Not that high, just below 1500m at the highest point (3rd last photo).

The antenna on the peak other side the lake is 1800m, 15 km from the lake by road / path.

The lake is at +/- 425m asl

Here's the route profile from the photos above

Went to the top of the 'Col du la vengeance de Wendell' today for the first time in a while, not just to behind the school where most go. Enjoyed it, normally give it a miss cause it's to tough on the SSR .... Took the Flash today [emoji3]

These are actually a really nice bunch of guys, who would have thought? But they don't approve of cleats or, I suspect, lycra; knee pads are okay.

Think about it for a moment, can you for one moment picture us lot in lycra without you ending up mentally scarred and requiring ongoing therapy?

It was lovely meeting, and being out-ridden, by you guys.

In celebration of the blue moon I went to squeeze in a quick sunset ride after work. If you zoom in you can see the zebras checking me checking them out. Was cold but good fun.post-44041-0-84557400-1438359463_thumb.jpg

I haven't had any problems with it but I'm not a very aggressive rider ...... may try a Seguaro in front when the time comes though.

Barzo looks to be a more aggressive tread pattern, so should offer a bit more grip than the Segauro (which is generally touted as an XC tyre or a tyre for the rear)
