DJR Posted August 1, 2015 Share Here's looking from the opposite side. Turned out even a fat bike can't keep up with Rufus, not at high tide anyway. NixM, Lexx, nonky and 5 others
deanbean Posted August 1, 2015 Share Went for the first ride in a few weeks, after having a bad throat infection, then cold allergy .Buddies persuaded me to take them through our local mountains. 40km with 1250m elevation, there was a bit of climbing, so much that I took few pics. When we stopped I was too busy recovering to take out my camera.Thats where I live, to the left of the highest pointHangklip near Queenstown And the route tombeej, Sepia, Dusty and 2 others

NotSoBigBen Posted August 2, 2015 Share ouch! You can say that again, trashed that wheel luckily with about a K to go and the tyre stayed up and on! My best time ever round that course [emoji3]
Guest notmyname Posted August 2, 2015 Share Barzo looks to be a more aggressive tread pattern, so should offer a bit more grip than the Segauro (which is generally touted as an XC tyre or a tyre for the rear)I'm super happy with the Segauro up front. DJR Posted August 2, 2015 Share Our yearly urban ride which, among other interesting bits of Southern Suburbs, Liesbeeck River, Rondebosch Common, subways I never knew existed, Newlands, Bishops Court, the old Zoo, Kirstenbosch and Rhodes memorial, also included UCT, Jamesons Steps and the perch where old Cycil John used to sit! We thought a statue of the fatty looked better! BSG, tombeej and Beattbox

mazambaan Posted August 3, 2015 Share He he Deanbean; 40km with 1250m of climbing "a bit of climbing". Sunds demanding, I'd be scared of a ride where you said "a lot of climbing". Â Beautiful part of the world and long may it last. deanbean

Captain Fastbastard Mayhem Posted August 3, 2015 Share I'm super happy with the Segauro up front.Sweet. It definitely suits the terrain up in Jozi though. Down here, not so much...
