Can't press the like button too much on this one.  With a daughter diagnosed only two years ago with autism, you can't beleive how small changes made at school and at home has had such huge changes in her life.

i sit on the board of a small private school that caters solely for kids with barriers to learning by making use of smaller classes and remedial therapists etc. they had a100% matric pass rate last year. it is really amazing to see what they can achieve given the right surroundings.

Have you read up about the link between gut mirobiome and autism in children? Quite interesting.

We moved to a Montessori based system.

 

Cannot believe how different our daughter is. Just wish we had made the move earlier.

its been know for many years now that the traditional schooling system does not suite all learners with many of them being better off with alternative methods. Yet we dont see that much of a change happening.
