Time for some TLC for the Blue Beast.

EDIT ... and so we learn .... 116 is too short for a 29" .... NO stock of the 126.  Got the last KMC from Evobikes, 136. (11 speed, ebike).  These stock issues are getting old now ....

With 4 off 11 speed bikes at home I will have use for this Shimano chain.

buy 12 speed chains? or arent they good for ebikes? they are mostly 126+ and they work better on 11spd groupos than 11 spd chains in my opinion. well i run 12spd chains on all our 11 speed stuff. You dont have that 'nanometric' sweetspot that 11spd combos tend to have.

Did not ask if they had 12 speed in stock ....

Nice Friday topic .... is there any difference, other than the packaging, between good chains and ebike chains ....

After 7 long months finally got my bike, wife has had her's for 3 months already. Let the riding begin!

Congratulations man, it is an awesome bike, I miss my one 😪 just one thing, if/when you can, a fork upgrade, to something like a Pike, Fox 34 or something along those lines, transforms it from a good bike to an absolutely AMAZING bike

Out of interest, did you make this or is it publicly available for purchase?

Not my purchase but my wife's.

Volvo XC40 T5 R-Design. Quite an upgrade from her little Polo (seen behind).

With this nice new vehicle comes a catch... I don't actually have a car of my own (once we sell her Polo). We share a car (have done so for 5 years), and it works out fine 95% of the time as we commute by bus most days, I have a motorbike, and most other places we either travel together or one of us is happy staying at home.

However, when it comes to transporting muddy MTB's (and bums), the new car will be off-limits (at least until the shine wears off) so I either need to get a roof-rack & carrier, a towbar and carrier, or find a something to cover the interior with 😅

great choice of vehicle. Plenty power from that T5 motor and all the safety you can think of.

used to love surprising the boy races with their hothatches when I drove these.

Was about to comment on the lack of a roof rack for the real transport ....
