To be honest I dont think he can. That time passed at least 2 years ago and there is way stiffer competition in the sprint game now.

i agree, that ship has looong time sailed

I would rather see a struggling meintjes than a struggling cav...

I really can't see this guy even coming close to winning a sprint unless everyone in front of him fell over.

Listen, we talking TDF and TDD here

Not Proteas and WCC

????

I’m thinking to lay some bets (at good odds) that TDD will surprise us in a good way

The only change I would make to that list is to replace Meintjes with Nizzolo.

LM wrist/ hand.... not sure how that is going to hold out on a 3 week tour with some major descents which will put some stress on his wrist

Plus the tour specific training he would have missed

As there are hardly any riders from TDD who have covered themselves in glory this year I will rather take a rider like Cav to the tour as his super star status will at least draw attention to the team.

Looking at the past year, I wouldn't have thought that Stevo would podium in 2019 at all...

He proved me wrong, he can still pedal a bike

EDIT: It was the British TT Championships...
