BMCfan Posted June 28, 2019 Share OK Shebeen. I hear you. So let me start asking the questions, so that we can speculate further... What happened to Dr Carol Austin? Very good question, been wondering about this for awhile and if it is tied to their results so far this year Maggies mense! I can understand that you ignore SwissVan ;-)but i asked the question.... Now that's its tour time and rumours are starting to fly, someone wanna hazard a guess at my original question? Even better if anyone actually knows :-) Gandalf and Underachiever

Shebeen Posted June 28, 2019 Share You misunderstand. What I implied is that NTT have been involved with DD since at least 2015 https://www.dimensiondata.com/de-de/news/2017/05/ntt-group-announces-expansion-of-partnership-with-sap-for-sap-hana-enterprise-cloud As of the 1 July 2019 they will become NTT with DD CEO as head. https://www.dimensiondata.com/en/news/brand-unveiled-for-new-ntt-global-operating-company So it is not totally new of NTT coming into bike racing especially as the new CEO of NTT is from DD who are involved with bike racing.and know the costs/benefits/downside or whatever. The call may come from the new CEO even? Hence my query with regard to the rumour? and source? They've been owned by NTT since 2010, but expanded internationally from the SA base. The whole cycling thing has happened whilst the Japanese have been in control. In July 2010, Dimension Data was acquired by Nippon Telegraph and Telephone (NTT) for £2.1 billion ($3.2 billion). In October of that year, NTT announced that Dimension Data would be delisted from both the Johannesburg Stock Exchange and the London Stock Exchange by the end of the year. Vetplant Posted July 1, 2019 Share So Amanuel Ghebreigzabhier is the only one in the whole squad to take a national jersey in 2019...in the Eritrea TT. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2019_national_road_cycling_championships Think we should use the Giro performance of TDD as a yardstick for our expectations for the TDF, that way we can all be pleasantly surprised if they do manage a stage win or holding a classification jersey for a day. O how spoilt we were back in 2016...
