Gonna get roasted for this but cyclocross just doesn't make sense to me. MTB are made for dirt and roadies for tar. Reckon that is just a line which should not be crossed.

All got started with a couple of bored Belgian and Dutch pro's looking for ways to stay fit without high pace on tar though their cold and wet winters. Then became a sport at which only those 2 nationalities are any good.

Only those who see frietekes as their national fare are mad enough. No reason for the rest of the world to pretend they are normal and legitimise this nonsense

Ben's monstercross bike must really freak you out then, hey.

I wish you well finding your way out of that little box you've got yourself stuck in.

(My n+1 bike most certainly has to be a monstercross build or CX bike. An awesome bike category and really makes perfect sense in the SA environment if you stop and think about it for 5 secs).

Yes.

(actually, you are not the first one to ask me that :) )

They were very dirty and smelly. But it was to be expected as this happened at Rietvlei which is in the South of JHB. It s a very rough neighbourhood, so most cameltoes are dirty and smelly there. [emoji14]h34r:

(Just kidding - couldnt resist taking a poke at the Alberton guys - i am so used to getting it from all sides about being an East Rander) :whistling:
