Reminds me of a ride a year or two ago.  Did not know the roads and the Garmin took me on a road that went smack through the middle of a golf course.  Before I actually realised it was a golf course I almost got hit by a golf ball.

Sometimes bikes get to be carried and pushed.  :whistling:  Race to Rhodes 2014

awesome memories. We tripped that route route in 2014. Second best 'cycling' experience of my life. Ok maybe the best.

Evening bash around the surrey lanes yesterday. Started at 16:30, finished just befor 19:30, still in bright warm sunshine. It looks like our 1 week of summer was last week, with rain predicted for the foreseeable future.

silly question but how do you steer. The level block I have doesnt move freely, do you just go without it or have some other method?

Remove block, if you need your wheel elevated, use another flat spacer to get to the required level.

Then turn your handlebars to steer.
