What a way to wrap up the day Not even sitting in the car for an hour to get back to Bellville could get the smile of my face My first time cycling this route .... certainly not the last. Kept it in Eco mode all the way too Houtbay. Knowing it would be a short ride I went for a harder workout, and a higher hart rate. Past the "tunnel" the climb and the wind had me working properly ... Coming back the afternoon traffic picked up ... now I used the assist, and kept the speed at 25 to 30km/h. Incidentally, spinning away like this results in a good hart rate, while protecting buggered knees ... Super nice that ebikes allows more cyclists to enjoy these routes. Ask me to pay R50 for a Castle draught and I'll hesitantly accept. Ask me to pay R50 for a Skeleton Coast or a Camelthorne Bock and I'll give you R100 as I'm most definitely having two. If you drink beer to get drunk, there are cheaper and more efficient ways of achieving that. If you drink beer because you love the taste of beer, its all relative.
