I never climbed Red Hill from that side.Always looked dangerous.

We stayed in Fish Hoek after Scarbs and that was the perfect training route.Fish Hoek over Red Hill and back down Smits x 2 or 3.Perfect.

The plan was to go via kommetjie, but the weather was bad that side as well as very windy. So we cut it short with a lekker climb and some high speed descent and sharp corners

What a stunning area, and dead quiet, your hardly see any cars up there in the early morning

It's tarred now?

Still think that's the coolest helmet on the BikeHub

we came here 2/3 years ago and I was a bit surprised that it is tarred all the way to the top, I remembered the paving was only going about 100m passed the campsite, but I'm not too sure... I could have definitely brought the road bike ! Now it is tarred until about 100m passed the top of the pass !

Yes that helmet is definitely a head turner

Oasis to Op Die Berg. The long way round. Lucky to miss the rain

wow, must have been a hot one hey ? When I did my repeats in the morning, the second half after the sharp turn was all in the clouds, nice and cool (and humid)

Last spin before hand surgery.

I trust all will go well Dale. At least we know you go into it super fit and super positive! Looking forward to see how you are going to keep up the quality of your pictures while riding the recovery indoor trainer!
