you must read the back of a lot of Hullets' sachets

Hehehe.

If scrolling is the new chain smoking, let’s just say, there’s power in words and it can change someone’s day. Who knows.

Time for a new (rear) shifter cable... 20,710km after replacing the last one. Luckily the route passed close enough to home to allow a bike swap.

If you're not crashing you're not trying hard enough. 🤣

The other start to the trails by me.

And why are there bozo’s who illegally dump their rubbish out in nature ( the green plastic sheets that look like artificial turf used as a ballistic tub lining)?

Schwalbe Super Trail casings make maxxis EXO+ feel like toilet paper. You can run about 3-5 psi softer on the schwalbe casings…they are more like maxxis double downs. I run my maxxis set at 25F/28R and my Schwalbe set at 22F/24R. Then you get super gravity and super downhill on top of that!

Seconds after taking my picture above and plunging into the single track, I realised my Magic Mary super trail had lost nearly all its air (silent burp?). I limped back home at a crawl on the fire roads, dismounting where too steep and fast. Very interesting ride when you hang your butt all the way back to put minimal weight on the front. Tyre gauge (the fancy digital one) at home said 3 psi!! Nice save Shwalbe in holding on, way outside the recommended pressure range.

"It's not about the bike"

Alrighty then .... Enjoying the riding in anticipation of my older boet coming from the land of the long white cloud in November

Doing cycle challenge, him myself and my son ... He might not have another opportunity to come so have to make the most of it
