Ah I see the trees on the right.

That's correct. Probably my favorite section of trail in the area. Sketchy "widowmaker" downhill leads you on to undulating trail with sneaky overgrown twists and turns. Rocky climbs and decents and Mont Marie at the end. Super fun and the view is worth the effort.

None of those on our morning ride at Meerendal ....  :whistling:

Nice slow ride with a group of friends.  NICE way to get back on the bike after 8 days in the bed ....  I watched the hart rate CLOSELY !  20 to 30bpm higher than normal ....

Jonkershoek was on point today.
We were spoiled with low level cloud on the Firehut traverse, and then spoiled with lots of rock rollers on Status Quo.

Took my boy fishing this afternoon, since the town dam is only about 800m from our new house we rode there with the bikes.

After some time and no fish caught we headed to the other side of the dam where there's a short XCO track and my boy could do a couple of laps while I chatted to a mate who was also there with his kids.bcbf90093821f79517b8aabf205686dd.jpgbc5727db9aa5d0a9f55c54ea15429eb5.jpg9a765998b04e4e573e362924c3bc802c.jpgc9bd837dc171538489583c0086e17e21.jpg9d85424cc2d1059158ddf962d735e423.jpg
