Up North, it’s been an arm warmer ride for the last few weeks. #skinnyokes

yeah, walked outside this morning and vapour cloud out the mouth with every breath. Strangley did not feel that cold (cold enough for arm warmers though).

Was also pretty dark at 6am, sun only showed itself around 6:30

Banhoek pretending that this is no biggie...

I was there on Monday. People treated that berm as an amphitheater, A few guys came down and used the berm as another jump never mind that there were people standing behind it. I hope they can extend the height of the berm with wood maybe, so that people have to turn right after that jump.

I am guilty of also jumping the berm after the gap and ending in the tall grass by the fence  .

Ow...nice run though. I liked that jump better when it was still a bit of a gap/drop/step-down

haha thanks, my tyres were still at 30psi from riding my bike on the road last night, I was like "go easy on this warmup lap, drop the pressure a bit at the bottom"... not sure I would have saved it with the extra front grip anyways, I tried though !

But I can see I had a couple warnings on the previous jumps with the same crosswind. I tried not to get too much air but it was still enough to get caught by the wind and run out of talent.

Front rim is fine, the bars turned around the steerer that probably saved me from a costly last minute carbon wheel replacement !

Left ear a bit sore, might have a bit of a punctured ear drum. Broken helmet but I don't think I have a concussion, more worried about my ankle. hopefully I can be back on the horse on saturday to build some confidence again !
