Rather instrumental in Wiggens' TDF win, and a solid lieutenant in helping Froome win his first. 

 

As pointed out, he was suspicious way before Sky with a dodgy blood passport in 2009. Some of his best results came during the Sky years. They then got rid of him, told him to give back his pillow and his training plans, he discovered Nutella, and at the age of 36 he decided that he had to dope.

Also at the school series... in competition is still not ideal, but hey, it's a whole heap better than nothing, and the surprise element of both these events is what might reap rewards

Somebody mentioned to me that Max Knox has been caught for doping. Either tested at or after Panorama Tour ?? Anybody heard anything ?

 

There was speculation that he was the 3rd person in the recent report about Shan Wilson.

 

I have looked on CSA and Googled, but can't see any press about it ?

Did the Panorama and I don't think there were any doping controls.  He did podium though, so possibly afterwards.

Now this is just the way I interpret it but it seems to me like some kind of retrospective result tiggered by some new info, not a "tested positivie at Panorama tour" outcome.

 

So I would think at least part of the rumour you heard is wrong.

On the "he did" side - his tweeting has gone really quiet. The Patcheliscious Rule of Tweet dictates that when tweeters go tweetless there is blood in the water.

 

There is smoke everywhere - I for one would like clarification one way or the other...I'm guessing loads of other people would too...
