I was prescribed Tramadol after gallbladder removal and hernia repair, I puked my lungs out until they stopped giving it to me....

I had injections to cure my Tennis Elbow and they gave me 1 Tramadol pill.  I took it at about 12:00 that day and then because it was my birthday my Wife and I went out for lunch and a few beers.

I have no recollection of the rest of that day from about 18:00 until the next morning - if I hadn't seen the videos she took of me dancing on tables later that night I would never have believed it.

That stuff is crazy

Who remembers that old book - the Postman always rings twice.  A couple having an affair conspired to murder the woman's husband by staging an accident on a particularly dangerous mountain pass.  They get away with it and after some time end up getting married only for them to have a genuine car accident where his new wife is killed in the same way as they killed her husband.  He is convicted and sits on death row.

How ironic would it be if her second positive test was really due to contaminated meat........

Tramadol and alcohol don't mix well.

Dude needed to lose some water weight fast..........

hahahaha

Sky/Ineos had their house of cards, Tue's, asthma meds and other dodgy stuff come crashing down. I wonder if we are to see a similar thing here.

One thing is for sure, in a sport like cycling, 9 times out of 10, where there is smoke, there is fire.

Astana are still a thing after all their super didgy past, so I doubt it will amount to much in the big picture. I see Vino even won a gold at the World Champs last week!

I am still entertained, the cheating and the chatter just adds to the 'Days of our Lives' saga, especially the reactions of those who somehow get emotionally involved

"In a seismic ruling that will send shockwaves through the sport, the medic was found to have taken possession of a prohibited substance and to have subsequently lied twice to anti-doping investigators.

Freeman who worked closely with Sir Bradley Wiggins when he became the first Brit to win the Tour de France in 2012 and followed it up with Olympic gold, was the team physician in London and Rio four years later.

His punishment marks the first time anyone associated with the staggering success story written in the Manchester velodrome HQ, where he and both British Cycling and Team Sky were based, and masterminded by Sir Dave Brailsford.

In 2021, after a long-running medical tribunal that, at times, bordered on the farcical, Freeman was struck off having been found to have ordered 30 sachets of banned testosterone ‘knowing or believing it to be for an unnamed rider in May 2011 to improve their athletic performance’ to the Velodrome from a supplier in Oldham.

He was also found to have instigated a staggering cover up, in which he persuaded an unwitting member of staff at the company to send an email wrongly stating that the Testogel sachets had been sent in error.

At the tribunal, where emotions ran high, Freeman claimed the banned substance had been ordered on behalf of coach Shane Sutton to treat his alleged erectile dysfunction.  The Australian, later called to give evidence at the hearing, rubbished those claims before storming out in disgust."
