En route to Franschoek with the manne last week. I'm sick and missing my bike this week!

Is it safe to go over Helshoogte from Stellenbosch to Franschhoek again? I have been meaning to ride there again, but after the last few attacks a while back I haven't been there.

We spent the past weekend in Hartenbos for my wifes birtday and I went riding on some of the gravel back roads round Klein Brak.

Somehow got lost and ended up in Groot Brak with a extra 15km peddle to get home.

We may have these amazing clear blue skies and balmy winter days on the Highveld but it is a rather drab looking place at this time of the year. Great riding weather at the moment though [emoji41]

My little 'skills' spot. I ride to the top on the grassy mount and gun it down to ride of the ledge..lol...not a massively high ledge but high enough to practice some good technique and get used to riding drop offs.

The trails in Garcia Plantation near Riversdal always bring a smile to my face.

Ungroomed, lots of rocks and roots, very little berms, and only a faint line to follow.
