Took my boy fishing this afternoon, since the town dam is only about 800m from our new house we rode there with the bikes.

After some time and no fish caught we headed to the other side of the dam where there's a short XCO track and my boy could do a couple of laps while I chatted to a mate who was also there with his kids.bcbf90093821f79517b8aabf205686dd.jpgbc5727db9aa5d0a9f55c54ea15429eb5.jpg9a765998b04e4e573e362924c3bc802c.jpgc9bd837dc171538489583c0086e17e21.jpg9d85424cc2d1059158ddf962d735e423.jpg

I find your boy's helmet positioning disturbing, to say the least.

I've tried and tried, but it just doesn't want to sink in.

Work, again. Commuting is really working well at the moment. I enjoy the sunrise every morning as it falls right in my riding time. Soon we'll be dipping into the Dark Side. Joined D this morning for a little detour to Fire Mountain!

I'm terribly sorry to tell you that you will regret selling that frame to me for the rest of your life! AlI I can offer to soften the blow is to assure you that it has found a very very good home and currently it gets an outing on a daily basis. (Even the much lighter carbon wonder is getting full of cobwebs from sitting on my wall.)

Nice commute home .... worked a bit later, and would have been STUCK in traffic, had an absolute blast taking a slow ride home on the bike.

Bergplaas above the 7 passes road near Hoekwil - Decent summer rain has seen it green up after the fires decimated it. These rocks always intrigue me.  Sometimes there's a pile, sometimes not.  I have been planning to appropriate some for ages but can't find the right luggage rack

Gorgeous evening light

I see that the Outeniqua mountains are getting some green colour again after the rain.
