Was supposed to be a zone 2 ride. I was in the bottom half of zone 3 heading out, then on the way back, just past BRB, 3 guys from the local bike shop ride asked if they can ride with me. One of them had suffered a mechanical and they were dropped from the group. 

I decided that having company was better than trying to stick to zone 2, landed up riding in the top half of zone 3 to keep to their pace. 
lekker day out, legs haven’t hurt like that for a long time. Was really feeling yesterday’s flat out ride.

Not sure ... my man was painting a BMW of some type that was that colour ... I just happened to pop passed and decided to use the same colour on this frame

Some afternoon laps (15) around a local circuit that has/had potential to host a crit race.

A busy week and weekend: 

1. Night ride at Taroko Modderfontein on Wednesday

2. Late afternoon ride at Taroko Modderfontein on Friday to get the weekend started 

3. And then a really fun Dad and Lad Sunday sesh with the lighty at Huddle Park. The technical section is a lot of fun, we spent some time there having a blast. Bonus points - I graduated (with no embarrassing falls…yet) from flat pedals to clipless on Sunday 😊
