Hb _Paarden Eiland commute:

1. Lekker smell of FRESH bread being baked early morning in both Hout Bay a-n-d Green Point!

2. Noticeably LIGHTER (than just 2 weeks back) once getting Green Point/Sea Point way...

3. Never seen a Steam Loco 'on bricks' before, looks like someone NICKED it's wheels...!

4. Beautiful PINK SKY over the Container Depot...

5. Left my office keys at home, so to Starbucks I went, b/fast, whilst awaiting staff.

A lekker commute - they dont get much better than this!

Beautiful Chris, the fitness must be picking up nicely with all this winter commuting you're doing. Well done for braving the crisp winter breeze 😄👍 How are you enjoying that Revolt?

On a side note I see that the Baviaans record was broken this weekend, both riders onboard the new Revolts 🤙

Cycling pretty-much ONCE a week, and just ONE way (in...), since I then drive the Mrs. home at end of the day - only fair to share driving duties! Fitness is fair, but INSTEAD of riding more-frequently, have taken up cold water swimming (again), so am cycling less ...., and enjoying the challenge of swimming with the feeshes! 

The Revolt (bear in mind I have the 'budget' end of the Revolt-range- is simply excellent value-for-money, at just R25K new!), I actually ENJOY 2x, the stock 38mm tyres are ok for my purposes (90% commuting - will change them for 45's when time comes...), the gearing is spot-on for my needs, and I can cross harbour train rails without WINCING on my skinny 25's and 28's...!

Was unaware of Baviaans record! Will go take a look!
