I saw pretty much the same view, but my specific route didn't put me in a position to get a good enough photo. Besides, intervals took priority on yesterday's ride.

The joys of being self employed/unemployed/nothing to do today...You can ride whenever! And I like warm lunctime rides in winter!

But it looks like I interrupted someone's lunch today...(nice fat meaty peice of puffy.....).

I'm always impressed with whoever catches and eat puffadders, whether it is a badger or a secretary bird, and I remind myself to give those guys a wide berth, because if you can do THAT to a puffy, I don't want to get on your wrong side.

That puffy was about as thick as my wrist...around 20cm or so.....A fair size...I have seen baboon and a caracal in these hills...Would have been a tasty treat for them!
