Where has your bike taken you today?

Had a day of small victories in the local forest.

There is a small "gap" jump that i never ride and usually stop and walk over to the other side. This time after careful planning and analysis, i gave it a go and jumped right on over with a big Yeehhhaa on the other side...lol...its nothing big but it was the first time i did it and then jumped it three times more so pretty chuffed with that.

Second victory was a steep climb that has steps along the way and i usually get a few pedal strokes in and then foot down and walk the rest....not this time oh no, i powered through after my ego was fueled by the jump, leaving a lung behind....stoked. The photos don't do that hill justice as its harder than it looks.

BSG please post a link to their story and their cause ...

Hi Chris, the best will be to look at the Facebook page "Impak OHS" there you will be able to see the most about what they did and why they did what they've done. Just for interest sake, only one out of the whole group is a cyclist, most if them only 16/17 years old, but they have a love for what they present and for what they do. And today's 90 odd kms was most in pouring rain and really cold weather.

It is a fundraiser with "Helpende Hand" for Laerskool Herold, they're using a store room which measures 2x3m for the learners and Outeniqua High School is trying to raise R200000 for the school to have another classroom build for these learners.

Last year, also with "Helpende Hand" with the droughts they were able to raise more than R200000 for farmers affected by the drought.

They are always doing something like this with/for a really very good cause.

If anybody can/want to donate all the details will be on Facebook.

Thanks for the interest shown and all the "likes" they got on this.

Ja maar gelukkig sien mens die moeilikheid al dae lank aankom. Ek mis die Vrystaat, geen beter lekkerder plek nie. [emoji24]
