I might as well go all out, Joseph is fairly loud already, the Ti bolts will fit in perfectly...

Agree, it would fit nicely on your bike.  As you can see, the gold work better on mine.

Got me some new kicks.  Damn they are so comfy and the quality looks pukka. No more Sidi’s for me. Next is to upgrade my roads shoes to lake.

And the service from Kim at Pure Motion was beyond brilliant, quick to respond and informative . Kim brought with her about 10 different styles and a few sizes around my size and met me at my local Mug & Bean .

Service like that is rare, so my next Poc helmet and lake shoes will definitely be through Kim. Massive kudos 👌

I've had my eye on this HRM for some time, then when I realised that running power can be estimated using this piece of equipment, I was sold. Going to try take my running a bit more seriously this year, and I've always wondered why I'm more broken after a run than a ride (perhaps something down to conditioning).

Interested to know how the added running stats have worked so far? What can you see/measure now?

Data is just that, data. It's what you make of it when you're presented with it.

The concept of running power is still being refined; it's not as clear cut as bike power. However, Garmin does have a guided lactate threshold test which strictly requires any Garmin HRM. At the conclusion of this test, your "power" numbers are not taken into consideration, purely your pace and HR. From experiece, this test is identical to a ramp test.

The other metrics it measures, vertical oscillation, ground contact time, ground contact balance, cadence etc are well defined. The values are summarized, and you can see where you're doing well and where (like me) you're not doing well. From this data, you know what you may need to work on to improve your running economy,
