It's a replacement of the adjuster "blank" fitted on the Performance level Float X shocks. More info here:

I know @BaGearA has posted something similar re the bleed ports on a fox fork….but it still boggles my mind how they basically charge you all the extra money for a label and a knob when all the valving etc is already there. Do they really think anyone with the slightest bit inquisitiveness wont notice lol

$25 to upgrade to essentially a "Performance Elite" level shock is not so bad. I once did some research to see how much it would be to do the same with a Fox DPX2 (adding the low speed compression adjuster) and it was more like $300

Something that doesn’t make sense

hell of a fun to ride

Ermahgerd that is awesome! I've had that exact bike in my cart on Rapide, but unfortunately the Tigre's top tube is just way too long for a drop bar setup (for my proportions anyway). Congratulations of being a flippen badass!

Edit: Slightly marked down for not aligning your tyre branding to the valve stem / rim branding, but seeing that it's a rad-as-balls local, drop bar, steel rigid bike you're excused.

I have a float x FS and honestly maybe the tune for the bike is just good but that Low speed adjustment does soooooo little.

Like fully open to fully closed only makes a very slight difference

I've had two, and the climb switches on both have made a significant difference when flipped to closed. Not totally locked out, but very firm.

Would've assumed that it's just a quick way to get LS compression from fully open to fully closed, but maybe there's more to it?

Probably should've asked this question last week, but how are you finding them +-1 and a half years later? I just picked up a new pair this morning for R2850.. First impression is they look and feel amazing for the price! Will take them for a test ride this afternoon.

O and some new rubber for a different look and saving my trail tyres for when the trails are rideable again.

Spez has a special on their 2.3 ground controls at the moment (not the T7 casing)
