In fact, in the last few months we've seen some of the highest Chat activity ever along with the highest % of sold items ever. What we're seeing, though, is that many enquires are simply not getting responses as items have either been sold or the seller has been flooded with enquiries. There are numerous improvements in the pipeline to improve the efficiency of Chat and to ensure sold items are marked sold with greater frequency. ChrisF, Zaskar and Vetplant 3

Not sure if the PM function from the "Classifieds" section is working I can confirm PM's in classifieds work.Advertised an item and received many replies.Most have continued to a whatsapp exchange ending in "I will get back to you".Needless to say that is where it has ended unfortunately.Times are tough, discretionary purchases take a back seat. Maybe people here just see themselves as elite or somethingFB marketplace is pretty amazing.

Seems us old timers keep the Hub classifieds going .... from another FB non-user (actually do have an account, to see event details, but have only used it 2 or 3 times in the last 12 months) More and more friends are switching to Marketplace .... The Hub's secure payment project could not have come at a better time .... much more effective options out there to sell cycling items. O-well, interesting times ahead ....

O-well, interesting times ahead ....Interesting to hear your take. It's always difficult for us to gauge what's happening on other platforms. From our point of view, we're super happy with the liquidity on the Classifieds this year. The number of adverts placed has been very healthy. While on the flip side of the marketplace, the average life-time of adverts has never been lower, which indicates that for the most part they are selling quickly. So by our measures at least, we believe that it is a highly effective option for selling cycling gear.
