Biking for pizza[emoji487] and beer [emoji482].

Two of my favorite things so guess the more I ride then I can enjoy them [emoji3][emoji3]

Bonus today was that the commune closed some roads to cars so that bicycles and other modes of transport could enjoy the roads in peace [emoji106][emoji106]13c0430f869e997cf0e04521d92a6a31.jpg9f5821ee7934defec23f1e1b766cd763.jpg

My friend and his son took part as well, the dad was the one with the Giant e-bike who started last because he just wanted to try it and wasn't in contention for any prices. He said that with his sickness (MS, reason he bought the e-bike) he really had it tough with the mud and singeltrack.

I worked my lines and really tried to miss the bulk of the mud .... this riding the edges along the side of the track .... had the back step out a few times !!   :whistling:     Made for a nice lively ride ...

even without the mud.  there were sections of the single track that had a nice rythm to it .... with a bit of speed you were constantly flicking left-right-left-right .....

Lots of people had minor spills ....  even the sweeper on his motorcycle went down once.

cleaned the bike when we got home.  dirt gone, memories FOREVER

I've been riding with fingerless gloves on my MTB now for 5 years.  :whistling:

I don't even own a pair of sissy gloves.

Ek stem. Only time I opt for closed finger gloves is when it goes below 0'C like with the start of Transkaroo in Sutherland.
