you guys (NSBB and Pikey) sound like old men complaining about young peoples music or like those old people shouting at their phones.

Flared bars are cool guys and you know they are functional, take it from a hip young gravel biker like me

EDIT**you two remind me of my local LBS who told me the 29ers won't catch on and 1x made no sense

I know i’m not hip or funny my kids tell me all the time .

And you right nsbb sounds like an old man,tsk tsk oom ????

What a way to wrap up the day      Not even sitting in the car for an hour to get back to Bellville could get the smile of my face

My first time cycling this route .... certainly not the last.

Without any effort at all...

And thats the nice part of the ebike .... I have the freedom to choose ...

Kept it in Eco mode all the way too Houtbay. Knowing it would be a short ride I went for a harder workout, and a higher hart rate. Past the "tunnel" the climb and the wind had me working properly ...

Coming back the afternoon traffic picked up ... now I used the assist, and kept the speed at 25 to 30km/h. Incidentally, spinning away like this results in a good hart rate, while protecting buggered knees ...

Super nice that ebikes allows more cyclists to enjoy these routes.

actually most craft beers cost between R45 and R50 for 500ml. This one was R32 for 350ml.

As Fanievb said, well worth it after a long hot ride

[emoji33] that’s a lot of money just to pour down your throat.

Ouch!

Ditto

I can say the same for a few bikes on this thread too.

If you're a beer connoisseur then its much of a muchness. Ask me to pay R50 for a Castle draught and I'll hesitantly accept. Ask me to pay R50 for a Skeleton Coast or a Camelthorne Bock and I'll give you R100 as I'm most definitely having two.

If you drink beer to get drunk, there are cheaper and more efficient ways of achieving that. If you drink beer because you love the taste of beer, its all relative.

EDIT: Thanks for making me lus for a beer at 08:30 in the morning at work, chop!

Ouch!

I feel more pain pouring a cup of coffee at R28 down my throat than a beer at R50
