edit: mmm okay, seing the classification now I might have gotten carried away when I saw a few team in a row starting with beautiful national kits 😎
Sofia raced last year.

David got all upset with Impey who chased him down from the break. He had commented that a South African should chase another one......or something like that.

Same colour and spec as your sarcasm
If you can’t afford it or like it, no need to bash it and justify why it’s over priced as a reason why you won’t buy it.
Spez will sell these bikes at this price in South Africa and every where else. I know a shop here that has an order list they can’t supply already on 1st drop.
they also selling 15-20k euro custom built up road bikes daily. Its pretty incredible to see.
as with anything, there is a product for everyone and that’s great.
Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know why this did not work
Maybe if Matt Beers wins $5M for winning Epic he can back pay me for coaching fees since 2005.
For now I’m happy with the yellow jerseys

In short they developed a product "HOTSHOT" that is the only scientifically proven product to prevent and treat muscle cramps. They claim that it basically resets the over-exited nerve. From my experience it's more a case of that if you suddenly experience a greater discomfort, you're body kind of forgets about the the lesser one. In this case if you eat a really hot chilly and your mouth's on fire, the cramps tend to go away.
HOTSHOT, is also the product Tadej Pogačar used when he started cramping in the last couple of km's of the 2023 Giro di Lombardia.
I've used it and it's basically a variation of pickle juice and it taste like pickle juice blended with apple juice.
I have found that as a alternative, hot pickled onions work really well for me, I buy them then I add some extra chilly powder. The nice thing is that you put a couple in a zip lock bag and eat them either before or as you start cramping. I find that chewing gives a longer burning sensation.
As with all sell the product wording on cramp preventing products:
"Has been shown to reduce (muscle) cramping"
The product is not scientifically proven.
They are 7-10km from where I live, they are very very legit. The size alone for all the sports and everything is incredible
Rigo is basically bigger than the president of Columbia and carries that much power / pull / swag in the country. It's pretty incredible when you see and hear the stuff he gets done with his speed dial.
1 of the best was when lockdown happened and the columbians needed to get to europe to race and there was no flights allowed from Columbia. Rigo hooked up the private presidential plane, loaded the riders and was flown over.

So sticking to working hours is cool, the answering service tells you what you need to know.

All by the book as far as I am concerned.

There isnt much to tell here, I coaches him in 2023 and a great kid, super focused and asked me to move teams with him and stay as his coach. I declined for my own reasons.
But then you get other factors influencing decisions and hell breaks loose with a example of how not to start your career. I can say the bs in media were fabrications.

On a MTB?
right now?
sagan won’t learn anything cause you need to keep up with the person you trying to learn from no?

Front left looks to be Benno Willeit from Specialized Factory Racing.
Open to correction though
Patxi is back this year with Bora as a sports director
the last few years of Peter’s career at Bora he was coached by Sylvester Schmidt

He only flys tomorrow as he went to the airport today and they said he needed a visa for South Africa. He is not in South Africa yet.
he is also not there for a epic training camp, he isn’t doing epic, he is essentially going to SA to get space and some less pressure with all going on to train before hitting the world cups and his eventual goal at Olympics

The letter format was borderline satire and a follow-up to a series of "love-letters" written about bike products written by others. I'm sure bike journalists get tired of the same old "Ten best cycling destinations/gravel bikes/indoor trainers for 2024!" type of articles and would like to do something different now and then.
If it resonated for some people (seems like it did) then that was the point.
Let's be honest, we all know the guy that has to write "Chilled ride with Jeff" just to subtly emphasize to all his other strava bros that it was because Jeff was around that he rode slowly and otherwise he would have been crushing the segments like normal.
