At the Fedhealth plenty ebike riders pass the us riders (maybe we are slow) but it really looked fun!

Must have seen at least 7 e-bikes at conters early on Sunday morning .... and all of them were big ticket bikes.

 

On e-bike rider arrives in his car, looks around the lower parking area and decides to rather try and squeeze in between two cars vs parking on the upper level parking. He could not get into the opening, so reversed out a bit and just parked like that .... plonker!

 

Must have been too far to cycle from the upper level parking on his e-bike.

Please let's not call them machines - they are motorbikes, and should be discussed in motorized programs.  A machine (in bicycle terms) is a super looking well designed humanly propelled means of transportation which excludes mechanical doping in all forms.

Mountain biking were started by guys who wanted to shred their way down, not up.

 

Most people subscribe to the suffer fest of Marathan and XC riding because overcoming unfitness is certainly less scary than learning to hit a massive gap on a DH track.

 

The long and short of it is that E-bikes allow you to get to the top quicker, and have fun on the way down, and quite frankly, that is what REAL mountain biking is all about.....but if you rally along with the fun police, I am not going to stop you riding your XC bike on gravel roads into the wind for 5 days straight....just don't come and rain on my parade once I own a e-bike, and  when I am having a fun time one the trails and you don't..
