Hit the road a bit late this morning on account of home responsibilities.

As per usual these days I set out without much of a route planned and just rode where the wind and the view's took me.

I rarely do what most would call proper mountain biking - I mostly ride the endless forestry gravel roads in my back yard. Trapped in Durban for the weekend I borrowed my brother in laws bike and have spent some time at Holla trails north of Durban. Going back today. Facilities are great but riding in 30 degrees at midday was just stupid.

Had the privilege of riding with the Hout Bay Cycling Club guys yesterday, what a lekker bunch! Loads of chirps and they can ride, had me on the rivet but enjoyed myself.

Tokai for a very welcome very wet ride with the "old crew" riding together again. So great to have some respite from the dust and the southeaster. The only problem is that the bikes now need some serious cleaning and servicing.
