And today was roadie Sunday.

We managed to do a proper 37km ride with 430m of climbing within our 5km radius.

I realised once again today I don't have climbing legs anymore, or it might be the extra 15kg's I have to haul around my waist.....[emoji848]85cca4a5c9134cbe44149a45fe28f54c.jpg

Look, its not an East Rand minedump, but its not bad!

So jealous that some guys have scenery like that outside their doorsteps.

Another good ride outside on Saturday morning.

Really is amazing to see the amount of people in the streets between 8 and 9.

Probably the only positive out of this lockdown is seeing all the families riding and walking together

A lekker ride on Saturday, despite my Garmin showing a error with a failed recording. Followed this up with a 12Km run on Sunday morning, and then meeting up with the family on a walk. I don’t need an excuse to get out, but I was delighted that the girls, and wife, got out on both Saturday and Sunday.

An urban MTB ride planned for Saturday, with me trying to find as many gravel/dirt paths to ride on as possible. Plan shows a 26Km loop, with an additional 14Km on tar roads to link up the route and make full use of the 5Km radius.

A coffee at a local Seattle Coffee (Caltex) will end another great morning out.

Today was supposed to be day 1 of Sani. My first "stage race" Who would have thunk it?

Went for a little jog around HB this morning. So so so beautiful this time of year.

yeah, there is a big spike on my graph this time last year, attributed to Sani2C.

Always enjoyed the event, last year was extra special, due to having done it on SS.

So in that spirit: #ThrowbackTuesday
