One for Chad Baby. Just because he's upset.

Bellville CBD, before the town wakes up.

Great pic. Reminds me of the song "Bellville Blues" by David Kramer from many moons ago:

"Voortrekker road is a wonderful straight road

It streches for miles and miles

But the most wonderful thing about Voortrekker Road is that it got so many traffic lights

One after the other after the other

And you can take your white Cortina out there

And wheelspin it from one traffic light to the next traffic light to the next traffic light..

Now thats lekker"

Sunset on the mountain top. It got pretty windy last night. Think I moved an area code or two.

Your sense of adventure is what I admire most. You prove that one does not have to paddle across oceans or scale the highest peaks to be adventurous. You can simply mount a bicycle and see the world around you. And in this, as tough as it is sometimes, there is peace that only the solitude can bring, and you are storing up good memories that will last a lifetime. Few of us manage that. Thank you for letting us live vicariously a little bit through your adventures.

[comic sans] Just make sure that pink elephant does not sit on the top tube of this canyon.

Your bike belongs in the Bike Pron thread...

I'm so envious of your bike park in that it is dirt.. we have one close by that is tar...every time i try go ride there its over crowded with skaters (scooters and skate boarders) making it very difficult to ride

Gotta ride on world bicycle day!

"The bicycle has a soul – it will give you emotions that you will never forget"

First a stop at the very spot I split my elbow, still don't know on what .... then on to the 'N20' or as it used to be known Sun Valley Road ????

My Oupa had a farm right at the top of the Piekenierskloofpas. We went there every December Holiday. But we never thought of doing a bit MTBing or being active - spend our time in front of the TV most days (stupid). What I would give to go there now...

On the way home, after picking up my car from the Stealer first, then a ride around the block. Much nicer afternoon compared to yesterday.
