  1. 1. If you take your bike or suspension product for a service, how do you feel about the shop putting their sticker on it when they’re done?

    • I’m happy to promote them on my bike. I’ll gladly leave it on.

    • I didn’t notice it and don’t care. Stickers won’t affect how I ride.

    • I don’t like it, but it’s just a sticker and I can take it off.

    • I don’t care who you are or how good your service was, NOBODY changes the appearance of my bike unless I specifically ask for it.

Definite no no.

Same with cars, we tell them upfront no marketing or stickers .... when we collect and the sticker or license plate has their logo on it, they remove it before we take the car.

Just No

See it on cars all the time and it gets me raging. Why should I even have to tell them upfront not to. I'll take your free stickers, but it must be my choice to actually stick it on.

Common practice by the bike shops here without asking, all the bikes i bought here have one....

I don't like it, but being the amicable type i just let it slide... I like Pappwatrap's idea above....think I'll send a few invoices just to see the reaction next time i walk into the shop ????

if i ever find a unsolicited sticker on my bike...

BMW once did that after a service. i offered to put some of my own stickers on their cars free of charge ????

seemed to solve the argument fairly quickly. never had a repeat issue.

Agreed, I won't even put a sticker on my own bike, let alone a bike shop.

That is why short socks are faster!

it is a compromise between aero, weight, and aesthetics. The sticker is both less aero and more weight. And in most cases, less pretty
