My better half bailed on Sa Calobra on our first attempt. She didn't listen when I said it was going to be a 2000m+ day and sh@t herself when we had 1000m in our legs before we'd even dropped into Sa Calobra. So we rented a car on our last few days. Did a bit of sightseeing. Then on new years day we ticked off Sa Calobra and drove to Port de Polenca and did Cap Formentor. It was a very special day. I've done a bit of riding in that area and it is really lekker, but the time of the year for this event puts me off. In Feb you are likely to have temps in the high 30's or early 40's. nathrix 1
