Think Fanie needs to remove the valve-core, re-fit it, then inflate the 29x2,6 tire with the stop watch running ..... That is either a double or tripple stroke pump. I have a slightly larger double stroke pump, it WORKS, even on plus sized MTB tires. EDIT .. the term "double stroke" typically refers to pumps that deliver air both during the pull and push action. What makes these small pumps extra good is that it it is x2 or x3 telescopic, so the normal size is much smaller than the actual pumping volume.
